Phil Hunter
A JCI member since October 2016, he is the Marketing and Website Director with the aim to promote JCI Belfast through the various social media outlets in order to encourage members and non-members to grow and join in on the Belfast Chamber and experience all that JCI has to offer. He highlights to members and non-members the benefits of JCI Belfast and encourages people to get together through participating in social, charity and business related projects. He has a great passion for self-development and has written a few books including a book on positive thinking and the positive mind-set. He develops himself through challenges whether that is taking on new leadership roles, having active hobbies such as kickboxing, football, salsa or the gym, solo travelling to destinations around the world or participating in the various JCI challenges and projects they have to offer in order to better himself as a person but also to better the lives of others around him by making an impact on his local communities.

William Redpath
Originally from Moira, William moved to Belfast after graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2011.  He has been working in sales and has extensive experience in a variety of roles within the telecoms industry, including direct sales and management roles. William is passionate about bringing people together and is a vibrant and enthusiastic member of his local JCI chapter in Belfast.  He has a keen interest in social inclusion and economic development and he finds JCI an excellent vehicle to promote the ‘New Belfast’ onto the world stage. William is also a keen sportsman and an active member of his tennis and hockey clubs.

Alison Grennan

Alison Grennan
Originally from County Monaghan and now living in Belfast Ali joined JCI in September 2016 with the aim of meeting new people who share her passion for humanity and wellbeing. Ali has a background in healthcare, mental health advocacy and office management which has helped her inspire and build relationships within the Chamber and the local communities as well as the running of the chamber and management of projects. She has a strong adoration for holistic wellbeing with particular interest in nutrition, psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Having lived in India she has experienced the beauty of culture and recognises the importance of community. She enjoyed canyoning in the Netravali Jungle and brought on her excitement for rock climbing back in Belfast which she shares with her fellow JCI members. Ali feels JCI has allowed her to recognise new passions, life learning and longevity, share fun-filled experiences and create long lasting relationships with her fellow members.

John Rea
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Audit & Accounts Manager, John works as the Finance Director of JCI Belfast. assisting in managing the annual budget, preparing quarterly accounts and cash management. John joined JCI Belfast in September 2016 having been a previous member of JCI Aberdeen. John, along with the 2 other pioneering members worked together in recruiting JCI Belfast members and re-launching the Belfast Chamber. He enjoys the challenge of searching and bringing together prospective new members and understanding their talents to help ensure they benefit both themselves and the chamber. He believes the potential for Belfast Chamber is limitless and it will become one of the finest, most active, sociable and successful chambers possible.

Adam Kennedy

Driven by success, powered by enthusiasm! Originally from Newtownards, Adam has been living and working in Belfast for 25+ years. His current profession is in IT Engineering and Consultancy but also has an extensive background in Construction and Sales, which collectively have allowed him to work and gain experience globally through travelling and living abroad. Adam joined the JCI Belfast team in Jan 2017 and has a great passion for people and life in general and believes that JCI not only provides a fantastic outlet for him to grow both personally and professionally, but it allows him bring his collated life experiencing and shine this back into the world of young professionals, local communities and the people within them. Outside of work life he composes his personal activity calendar with charity events, fundraising, gym, hockey, golf, swimming and travelling the world, which allows him to experience all the beauty and wonders that the many countries and cultures have to offer.

Angela McCartney
Angela joined JCI in May 2017 and since then has been a key contact for the voluntary sector, in particular starting up the Greggs Unsold Food Programme, with fellow JCI member John, and two local homeless charities. Angela has a background in Social Care, Admin and IT, she currently works with over 260 companies throughout Northern Ireland on their Corporate Responsibility through Employer Supported Volunteering, and helping to tackle digital inclusion. Angela has a love of personal development and she is currently studying for her Level 4 in Leadership & Management.

Ryan Sheppard
Former President at Newry Junior Chamber and Commercial Director of Clanrye Lighting and Electrical Supplies, Ryan joined JCI Belfast in early 2018 to continue his JCI Journey. Ryan has a keen passion in business and competitive cycling and has a Bsc (Hons) degree in Accountancy from Queens University Belfast.

Sam is originally from Ballymena but has been living in Belfast since he studied Economics at the University of Ulster. He has been working as a mortgage advisor for the last 6 years where he specialises in getting first time buyers on the property ladder . He joined JCI in June 2018 with the aim of furthering his personal development and meeting likeminded people. Outside of work Sam enjoying travelling, keeping fit and rugby.

Chris is a Life and Peak Performance Coach specializing in individual coaching. Passionate about personal development, he joined JCI in March 2018 to network with like-minded individuals and bring his coaching and business skills to the table. Hobbies include boxing, cooking, travelling and learning.

Michael Lynch

Michael Lynch
Michael graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2017 with a BA in Politics Philosophy and Economics. From Monday to Friday, Michael works in an accountancy firm in central Belfast, however, by weekends, he enjoys reciting an array of facts and dates in his role as a tour guide. Having worked in tourism, in Belfast, over the past six years, he enjoys the thrill of meeting people from all corners of the globe and welcoming them to our city. Witnessing the growth and development of Northern Ireland inspired him to get involved in JCI, and he became a member in early 2018. Michael is particularly interested in the developing economic prosperity in Northern Ireland and the immense potential that our part of the world has to grow in the next decade. Michael is keen to see how the JCI Belfast Chamber can continue to help support making Northern Ireland such a properous and positive place to both live and visit.

Jay Burbank
Originally from Londonderry, Jay joined the chamber there while still at university in 2017. He transferred to JCI Belfast when he moved there in 2018 where he works as a corporate lawyer specialising on in-house financial services work. He also studies part time at queens university Belfast and has written on legal issues in international trade. He is honorary secretary and membership director for JCI Belfast 2019.

Paul is an experienced mortgage and insurance broker who deals with many first time buyers, home-movers and investors looking to expand their portfolio or step onto the buy to let property ladder. He has 8 years’ experience in the financial services industry with 5 years’ experience in the mortgage world. He specialises in guiding First Time Buyers through the maze that is the mortgage world and buying your first home.

Over the last 2 years he has trekked Machu Picchu and The Grand Canyon personally raising over £10,000 for his chosen charity, Cancer Fund for Children.
